This Privacy Policy explains how 2a.social collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the 2a.social website, private beta signup flows, and the 2a.social mobile service when it becomes available.

This policy applies to information collected through the 2a.social website, related landing pages, communications, private beta intake, and the 2a.social app and services. It does not cover third-party services, websites, or tools that we do not control, even if we link to them.

Information you provide directly
- Name, username, email address, phone number, profile details, and account credentials.
- Business, club, instructor, or event profile information that you submit to be displayed in the service.
- Messages, support requests, reports, trust or verification submissions, and other content you choose to send.
- Contact import and invite information if you decide to use discovery or invite features and grant the required permission.
Information collected automatically
- Device, browser, app, and operating system details.
- IP address, coarse location, language, timestamps, referral data, and usage events.
- Security and moderation signals, including login history, abuse-prevention markers, and feature interaction logs.
Information from other sources
- Verification, moderation, or business listing information from trusted third-party providers or publicly available business sources.
- Social or identity provider data if you explicitly choose to connect a supported external account.
3. How We Use Information
- To create and operate accounts, profiles, connections, events, clubs, and business pages.
- To provide messaging, invites, QR networking, discovery, trust, and moderation features.
- To verify businesses, instructors, or other community entities and to protect the integrity of the service.
- To communicate with you about account activity, updates, safety matters, and support.
- To improve performance, detect bugs, prevent fraud, and enforce community rules.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to valid legal process.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for cash. We may share information in the following limited cases:
- With service providers who host, secure, analyze, moderate, or operate parts of the service on our behalf.
- With other users according to your visibility settings, trust settings, profile settings, and product actions.
- With verification, safety, payment, infrastructure, or communications vendors needed to run the service.

- You can choose which information you add to your account and may update certain profile details inside the service.
- You can manage permissions such as contacts, notifications, camera, microphone, and location through your device settings.
- You can use blocking, reporting, connection controls, and visibility settings where available.

- If you cannot access the app, you may request account deletion or other privacy help by contacting support@2a.social.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, operate security and moderation functions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on account status, the type of information involved, and safety or legal requirements.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for using the service in a way that protects your own safety and privacy.
8. Children
2a.social is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact support@2a.social so we can review and take appropriate action.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may post an updated version on the site, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when appropriate.
